Building on the diverse mandates of the United Nations entities operating in and in partnership with the UAE, the year 2023 brought fresh opportunities for the UN Country Team to deepen its long-standing collaboration and engagements within the country. This report showcases the accomplishments and contributions of the United Nations in its joint efforts with the UAE through strategic policy advice, technical support, regional and national initiatives, and humanitarian outreach, with a particular emphasis on climate action, including active participation in COP28.
